It won't work accurately with the blade perpendicular (90 degrees) to the cylinder. Most of the 401 blocks that we have checked are 1972's. All of the 360's I have checked are late '80's Jeep engines. They seem to be as thick as the 343 ... I personaly dont like to use any thing with a finished wall thickness under .215 on the thrust side and thats pushing it IMO.
