This study assesses the cervical cancer screening practices among women in Ghana. Methods: WebCervix uteri (cervical cancer, henceforth) was ranked second in Africa with an estimated incidence of 117,316 [105,999 – 129,842] and 76,745 [68,380 – 86,133] deaths. Prostate cancer was the leading cancer group in African males with 93,173 [83,906 – 103,463] cases and 47,249 [41,941 – 53,228] deaths ( Table 2 ).
