I looked up the heads and found a couple forums comparing the two, but honestly I think either will work for my needs. Longest distance in my yard is only 150-200 feet, and longest distance indoors is only about 30 feet. I have both and there is a size difference, not crazy though. (Arisaka 600 E2XTD and Modlite PLHv2 18650). I think the Modlite looks beefier because of the design (and it's 18650) and the E2XTD head looks bigger because of the thinner 16650 body.
